Gut Microbes Publishes ECUST Latest Progress in Development and Application Research of Engineering Live Bacteria Drugs
Recently, the team of Professor Ye Bangce from the School of Bioengineering and the State Key Laboratory of Bioreactor Engineering of our university has made important progress in the field of development and application research of engineering live bacteria drugs. The related research article was published in Gut Microbes, a high-level international journal in the field of intestinal microbiology, with the title of “Empowering Probiology with High Xanthine Transport for Effective Hyperuricemia Management”.
The article is first authored by postdoctoral fellow Zou Zhenping, and MEng candidate Li Juling, and corresponding authored by Professor Ye Bangce and Professor Zhou Ying. This research is funded by the National Key Research and Development plan, the Key Projects of the National Natural Science Foundation and the Postdoctoral Science Fund.
