Electrochemical Energy Reviews Publishes ECUST Significant Advances in Multiscale Mechanical Failure of Lithium-Ion Batteries

Recently, at the invitation of Electrochemical Energy Reviews, an authoritative journal in the field of electrochemical energy, the research group of Professor Luan Weiling from the School of Mechanical and Power Engineering, Advanced Battery Systems and Safety Key Laboratory, ECUST, in collaboration with National-Level Leading Talent and Chair Professor Chen Haofeng, published a review titled “Multiscale Mechanical Failure of Lithium-Ion Batteries and Its Impact on Performance, Lifespan, and Safety”.

The article is first authored by PhD student Wu Senming and Lecturer Dr. Chen Ying from the School of Mechanical and Power Engineering, ECUST, and corresponding authored by Professor Luan Weiling and Professor Chen Haofeng. Academician Tu Shandong, as a co-author, provided support and guidance for the integration and direction planning of interdisciplinary research. The research was funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation.
