Nature Chemistry Publishes ECUST New Advances in Ring-Expansion Reactions of Saturated Cyclic Amines
Recently, the research group of Professor Chen Yifeng from the Feringa Nobel Prize Scientists Joint Research Center at ECUST published a research article titled “Diversified ring-expansion of saturated cyclic amines enabled by azlactone insertion” in Nature Chemistry, reporting new advances in the diversified ring-expansion reactions of non-strained saturated cyclic amines.
The research work was mainly conducted by Dr. Wu Licheng and PhD student Xia Hanyu, and corresponding authored by Professor Chen Yifeng, and received guidance from Professor Qu Jingping. The research was financially supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Feringa Nobel Prize Scientists Joint Research Center, the Frontiers Science Center for Materiobiology and Dynamic Chemistry, the Shanghai Sailing Plan, the Central Universities Fundamental Research Funds, the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, and the Open Fund of Henan Normal University.
