Nature Communications Publishes ECUST Research Progress on the Stereoselective Evolution of Imine Reductases
Recently, Professor Zheng Gaowei from the School of Bioengineering, ECUST and Associate Professor Kong Xudong from Shanghai Jiao Tong University achieved new progress in the research on the stereoselective evolution mechanism of imine reductases. The research article was published in Nature Communications under the title “Evolutionary insights into the stereoselectivity of imine reductases based on ancestral sequence reconstruction”.
The research work was mainly conducted by PhD student Zhu Xinxin from ECUST, and is corresponding-authored by Professor Zheng Gaowei and Associate Professor Kong Xudong. The research was supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Key R&D Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology.
