Advanced Materials Publishes ECUST New Advances in Photocatalytic Green Hydrogen Production
Recently, Academician Zhu Weihong and Specially Appointed Researcher Zhang Weiwei from ECUST researched on an innovative molecular nano-photocatalyst based on a donor-acceptor structure for high-efficiency quasi-homogeneous photocatalytic water splitting for hydrogen production. The related research article was published in the prestigious journal Advanced Materials under the title “Efficient Quasi-Homogenous Photocatalysis Enabled by Molecular Nanophotocatalysts with Donor-Acceptor Motif”.
The article is co-first authored by PhD student Liu Xueyan and postdoctoral researcher Yu Miaojie, and co-corresponding authored by Specially Appointed Researcher Zhang Weiwei and Academician Zhu Weihong. The research received guidance from Academician Tian He and was financially supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, the Frontiers Science Center for Materiobiology and Dynamic Chemistry, and the Feringa Nobel Prize Scientists Joint Research Center.
