Our Global Network
The university has established a multi-level, all-round international network, by developing cooperative relations with over 130 higher institutions and research organizations worldwide. Aiming at global frontiers of science and technology, we carry out high-level joint education and research, to enhance scientific development and social progress for mankind.
International Joint Laboratories
Housing the Nobel Prize Scientist Joint Research Center headed by 2016 Nobel Laureate in chemistry Ben Feringa, having Oliver Hart Research Center of Contracts and Governance named after 2016 Nobel Laureate in Economics Sciences Oliver Hart, together with five international joint laboratories, the university aims at global frontiers of science and technology and committed to high-level joint education and research for a better shared future of mankind.
Joint Education School
Working with Federation Gay-Lussac, (with a French network of 20 chemical and chemistry related engineering schools for more than a decade), ECUST treasures and unifies leading global resources to provide innovative engineering education. And in 2019, a MOE-approved Sino-French joint school, International Elite Engineering School was built together with ENSCR, helping our students best adapted to the industrial world.
In the field of business, ECUST also strives to contribute its wit by establishing China’s first International Business School in Belt and Road country Romania, training practical talents for local society.
Confucius Institute
Together with the University of Huddersfield, ECUST hosts the first Confucius Institute featured in science and technology innovation, the Confucius Institute of Science and Technology Innovation at the University of Huddersfield.
Global Education
We work with more than 130 like-mind top universities including University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, Imperial College London, University of Cornell, RWTH Aachen, and University of Queensland, etc on multi-stage and wide field student programs including short-term exchange, study abroad program, 2+2 double degrees, etc. with almost thousand students engaging international education activities every year.
And there have been more than 10,000 international students from over 140 countries, who have completed their studies here in ECUST since 1950s.
We are willing and ready to cooperate extensively with universities and research organizations around the world to make joint endeavor for understanding and development of human civilization.
